After years of growing premium wine grapes for other California wineries, Cheryl eventually convinced Randy to make some wine. Not having any equipment, the pair crushed their first barrel with their own feet and stumbled upon the name Red Soles while admiring each other’s red, grape stained feet. That first crush of Petite Sirah and Zinfandel grapes later became the founding premier vintage, their 2004 Kick-Off and they opened their Red Soles Winery in March of 2007. Visit Red Soles Winery’s friendly tasting room nestled in the Templeton Gap and enjoy delicious, estate grown wines. Relax and take in the view as you enjoy refreshing whites, luscious reds, & indulgent dessert wines, they run circles around the competition! The beautiful new still & brandy program will leave you captivated! Same day appts welcomed.
