The Robertson Family offers estate wines from SJR Vineyard in The Rocks District, located on the Oregon side of Walla Walla Valley; where the focus is hands-on farming of Syrah, Grenache, Viognier, Mourverdre and Cinsault. Delmas | SJR Vineyard sits on a bench at the SW corner of the AVA, and within the alluvial fan whose boundaries capture this globally distinctive appellation of cobbles and gravels.
Steve Robertson spearheaded the Rocks Distirct petition and eventual AVA approval, as well as founded the Rocks District Winegrowers. Brooke Robertson directs winegrowing for the estate. She fostered the mini-head trained vine concept within the appellation in response to the climate eccentricities of the region.
