SITE

SITE is the most important thing determining quality in a glass of wine. It's not the winemaker or the type of fermentation vessel, or even the particular vintage, although those things have an effect. The wines come from the same vines from the same three vineyards, Bien Nacido, Larner, and Stolpman, as they have since the first harvest in 2012. To ensure the wines smell and taste from the place of their origin, no yeast is added, no bacteria is added, and the wines are bottled without filtration or chemicals. The bottles are sold on a first-come, first-served basis through the website. There is no tasting room or compulsary wine club but the wines can be found at six of the eight Michelin 3-star restaurants in California in addition to a handful of other great restaurants in the state.
