Located near the nationally recognized historic town of Jacksonville, in the Rogue Valley. Valley View was originally established by pioneer Peter Britt in the 1850’s. The name was restored in 1972 by Frank and Ann Wisnovsky and family for their vineyard and winery in the beautiful Applegate Valley just nine miles from Jacksonville. The Applegate Valley is considerably sunnier, warmer, and drier than the other winegrowing regions of Oregon, allowing Valley View to focus on Viognier, Syrah, and Tempranillo at our estate vineyard, along with Pinot Noir is the cooler reaches of the valley. Valley View Winery is the only Oregon Winery to acheive three Editors Choice awards from Wine Enthusiast in the same vintage (2021) with three varieties. In the past 3 vintages Valley View has been awarded over 50 90+ point scores from 5 wine publications.
